Mary "Joan" Day, 75, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009.

  

She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County.

  

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

  

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Loy Crafton Day of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Sam Cole, Phyllis and Rick Case, all of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Loy and Linda Day of Cumming; grandchildren, Ryan Case, Alex Day, Macy Day, all of Cumming, Ashley Case of Atlanta, Seth and Mary Beth Cole of Nashville, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Herbert Westray of Cumming; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dot Holbrook of Alpharetta, Betty and Jimmy Stone of Cumming, Martha Day of Alpharetta, Shirley Day of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 3 at 3 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Don Westray, Bud Sutton and Ricky Byrd officiating.

  

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 2250 Friendship Circle, Cumming, GA 30028.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
