Nicolina Dorlores "Nellie" Sanfilippo, 94, of Marietta, died Oct. 22, 2012.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Giovannia Perotto.

Her beloved husband, Guiseppe Sanfilippo and daughter, Joanne Sanders, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Anthony and Valerie Sanfilippo of Chula, Mo., and Lynne Woods of Cumming; sisters, Jean Viola, Virginia DiNoto and Teresa Dinapoli, all of New York; grandchildren, Jonathan Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Jennifer Verge, Anthony Sanfilippo, Maria Sanfilippo, David Woods, Robert Woods and Joseph Woods; 14 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

A funeral mass was held at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Cumming.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
