Ollie Wilson

Ollie Wilson, 96, of Gainesville, died Oct. 17, 2012.

Born Feb. 23, 1916, in Lumpkin County to the late William Henry and Dora Ingram, she lived most of her life in Dawson and Forsyth counties.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Her husband, Willie Wilson; daughter, Sue Thurmond; sons, Billy Wilson, George Wilson, Jimmy Wilson; sister, Gertie Summerour; and brothers, Martin Ingram and Van Ingram; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Bernice Burt of Foley, Ala.; sons, Charlie "Chuck" Wilson of Gainesville, Roy "Roe" Wilson of Cuthbert; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Oct. 21 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. B. Sims officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
