Richard Lee Dameron

Richard Lee Dameron, 73, of Cumming, died Sept. 21, 2012.

He had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior while attending Haw Creek Baptist Church in the 1960s.

He was a faithful employee of General Motors for 41 years.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Andrea Dameron of Canton; three grandchildren, Brinn Dameron, Bishop Lee Dameron of Canton, Tabatha (Steven) Stone of Dawsonville; great-granddaughter, Azen Stone of Dawsonville; mother of his children, Kay Dameron of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 24 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Orr officiating. Interment followed at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
