The Dawson County Middle School Tiger football team remains undefeated following a 25-0 away win over Jasper Middle last week.

Coach Thomy Edwards' team is currently holding on to a perfect 3-0 record.

Despite a slow start, Dawson County picked up the pace in the second quarter.

"All of my running backs ran the ball really hard," Edwards said. "The Jasper defense changed fronts on us and it gave us some real trouble."

Edwards praised the play of Taylor Cronan, Hunter Burt and Jordan Hannah on offense. Quarterback Colin Glover also had a great day throwing the football.

At wide receiver, Austin Young had some big catches, according to Edwards.

The Tigers will face their toughest test yet this week with a game at Fannin County.

Fannin is currently 2-1 on the season.

"They [Fannin] are a really tough team. We are going to have to play mistake free football to even have a shot at beating them. It is going to be a huge test for my players," Edwards said.
