JV girls 0-2

POSTED: September 11, 2012 4:00 p.m.

The Dawson County High School Junior Varsity Softball team dropped an away game, 6-5, against East Hall on Thursday.

Coach Nickie Rogers' team is currently 0-2 on the season.

"This was a much better game than the first one against Banks County [the week before]," said Rogers. "We made a few defensive changes at our last practice and they came out better."

Heather Hensley led all batters with two hits in the loss.

Others recording hits for the Lady Tigers were: Heather Brady (double), Katelynn Simpson, Brandy Torres, Sam Keeney (double), Makaylee Kelley and Brittany Phillips.

"I am looking forward to what the rest of the season holds," Rogers said.

The Lady Tigers next game will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at White County.
