Dorsey Frank Turner, age 68, of Dawsonville passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at his residence.

  

Mr. Turner was born in Lumpkin County. He had lived most of his life in Forsyth County and had lived in Dawsonville for the past 15 years. He was of the Baptist faith and was self-employed.

  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Egbert and Viola Carrie Tatum Turner.

  

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Grace Turner of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Brandon Cook of Dawsonville; son, David Turner of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Carol Turner of Dawsonville, Daniel and Donna Turner of Cumming; brother, Leroy Turner of Dawsonville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

  

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with the Rev. Eddie Cain officiating.

  

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
