James Dyer, 71, of Dawsonville, died July 31, 2012.

His sister, Jane Dyer; and brother, Grady Dyer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Dyer of Dawsonville; daughter and sons-in-law, Donna and Stanley Allen, Tracy and Bradley Moore, all of Gainesville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Aug. 2 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jason Hamby and Troy Milford officiating. Interment followed in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
