Kayla Lynn Reece and Travis Ray Reeves plan to wed in September 2012.

Sandy and Kim Reece of Dawsonville, announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Kayla Lynn Reece, to Travis Ray Reeves.

He is the son of Terry Reeves of Cumming and Jill Reeves of Dawsonville.

Maternal grandparents are Mitchell and Linda Rider of Dahlonega and the late Jeff and Kathleen Reece of Dawsonville.

Paternal grandparents are Judy Cox and the late Mayor Joe Lane Cox and Martha Reeves and the late Jimmy Reeves, all of Dawsonville.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Dawson County High School. She is a student at Gainesville State College, and has earned an associate's degree and will continue in the nursing field.

She is employed at Northside Hospital-Forsyth, in Cumming.

The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of North Forsyth High School and North Georgia Technical School. He is currently employed by ComTran.

An invitation only, beach wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at the Together Forever Wedding Chapel in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

A reception will follow.

The couple will host an open reception in early October.

Following a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will make their home in Cumming.
